Prof. Diofantos Hadjimitsis made a presentation of the EXCELSIOR to the undergraduate students (3rd year students) of the Department of Civil Engineering & Geomatics of the Cyprus University of Technology. His presentation aims to inform the undergraduate students for the upcoming job opportunities capitalizing the benefits of the establishment of the new Centre of Excellence in Limassol. He highlighted the benefits of establishing ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence (ECoE) for Earth Surveillance and Space-Based Monitoring of the Environment for the students and research scientists in Cyprus. Furthermore, during his presentation he gave various examples related to funded projects and applications that his team has participated during the last 10 years aiming to familiarize them with the Remote Sensing and Earth Observation meaning as well as to inform them related to research areas of ECoE and the objectives and opportunities of the EXCELSIOR Project.
