The Excelsior2020eu team joined the one day meeting “Towards Horizon Europe: Dialogue on Implementation Strategy & European Partnerships” which was organized by the Research and Innovation Foundation in the framework of its responsibilities for coordinating Cyprus participation in the Horizon 2020 Program. As the discussions and preparation for the next Framework Program progress, the European Commission is also focusing on the strategy for implementing Horizon Europe. Improved accessibility, simplified and effective rules, procedures and tools, as well as better communication and attraction of stakeholders are some of the cornerstones of its strategic implementation. Regional events held for the concerned community in the Member States provide an opportunity for the European research and innovation ecosystem to contribute to the debate by identifying and discussing best practices and opportunities for improvement, based on their experiences.
