On 26th of November the EXCELSIOR Coordinator Prof. Diofantos Hadjimitsis presented the Excelsior H2020 Teaming Project as a Digital innovation hub with emphasis on how earth observation and Geoinformatics are used to support studies related with: disasters, risk assessment, prevention & preparedness, civil protection, epidemics at the 3rd Annual Forum of CERIDES – Excellence in Innovation & Technology. The title of the Nicosia Risk Forum 2020 was “Preparing for the Next Pandemic The important role of Civil Protection:A Regional View”.
