Dr. Kyriacos Themistocleous participated in the Symposium of the Sustainable conservation of UNESCO and other heritages sites through proactive geosciences that took place in Egypt during 10th to 12th of December 2019. The Symposium was organized by various institutions such as the Embassy of Italy in Egypt, the Academy of Scientific Research & Technology (ASRT) and the National Research Institute for Astronomy & Geophysics (NRIAG). The Symposium was organized in sessions that presented case studies from different parts of the world, sharing experiences in heritage conservation, under various climatic and hazardous contexts.
