The team members of the EXCELSIOR Project; Prof. Diofantos Hadjimitsis, Assist. Prof. Chris Danezis and Dr. Christiana Papoutsa had the opportunity to meet the team members of the Fameline Holding Group (FHG) which is a vast network of business organisations; Mr. Stephanos Stephou, Mr. George Tsitouris and Mr. Michalis Hadjistylianou. During the meeting Prof. Hadjimitsis; Coordinator of the EXCELSIOR H2020 Teaming Project; presented the overview of the Project and highlighted several marine applications using Remote Sensing and Earth Observation techniques. After a brief presentation related to the activities of the Fameline Holding Group (FHG) a discussion was followed focusing on the potential areas of collaboration and development of new applications utilizing available satellite data and remote sensing techniques.
