On the 20th of December 2019, Prof. Diofantos Hadjimitsis and Mr. Christodoulos Mettas Research Scientist at the ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence made a presentation of the EXCELSIOR Project to the students of the Gymnasium of Apostolou Pavlou in Pafos. The purpose of the presentation was to promote the benefits of establishing ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence for Earth Surveillance and Space-Based Monitoring of the Environment for the students and scientific staff in Cyprus as well to familiarize them with the main idea and purpose of the project. Furthermore, examples from several funded projects as well as Copernicus benefits were also presented to the students.
