The Eratosthenes Centre of Excellence is excited to announce that starting December 15th, we will coordinate a new Erasmus+ project focused on Climate Change, Cultural Heritage, and Archaeology.
This project, named CHANGES (Cultural Heritage and Archaeology for the study and dissemination of Natural, Geological, Environmental and Social events due to climate changes in antiquity: learning from the past for a better awareness in the future), is funded under the Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education (KA220-HED) with a budget of €400,000.
CHANGES will involve 9 prestigious institutions from Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Spain, and Poland. The project will be led by Dr. Dante Abate, responsible of the Cultural Heritage cluster at the Eratosthenes Centre of Excellence, in collaboration with esteemed researchers from the Università degli Studi “Gabriele d’Annunzio”, the STARC – Science and Technology in Archaeology and Culture Research Center at The Cyprus Institute, Ud’Anet, Uniwersytet Warszawski, Universitat Rovira i Virgili – URV, the Archaeological Research Unit, UCY – Ερευνητική Μονάδα Αρχαιολογίας, ΠΚ (ARU) at the Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου | University Of Cyprus, Ίδρυμα Τεχνολογίας και Έρευνας, and JD ARCHPROSPECT
