Stelios NEOPHYTIDES

Stelios Neophytides participates as a Research Associate and is a member of the Research Centre “ERATOSTHENES”, led by Professor Diofantos Hadjimitsis at the Department of Civil Engineering and Geomatics, at Cyprus University of Technology (CUT). Mr. Neophytides has received his undergraduate degree from the Cyprus University of Technology, where he obtained the degree of BSc in Computer Engineering and Informatics. After his studies he decided to proceed with an MSc degree. In 2021, he received the MSc of Geoinformatics and Geospatial Technologies at Cyprus University of Technology. Mr. Neophytides worked as a Researcher at CYENS Centre of Excellence (Cyprus) and he got experience on 3D Modelling, Augmented Reality Technologies, Topography and Cultural Heritage. Furthermore, he worked at Mesoyios College (Cyprus) as the ECCC Cyprus Officer (both Academic and Administrative role). Stelios Neophytides is a PhD Candidate at Cyprus University of Technology, and he is examining the subject of Crop Yield Forecasting and Big Earth Data Analytics. His research interest is comprised in the fields of Earth Observation, Artificial Intelligence, Big Earth Data and Agriculture.
