DESCRIPTION:The EXCELSIOR H2020 project\, the ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence (ECoE) and the Department of Civil Engineering and Geomatics of the Cyprus University of Technology organize a virtual invited talk by Ms. Els Knaeps.* Free attendance\n** The talk will be held in English.\n** Registration required: https://cutt.ly/qRQA8hl\nEls Knaeps obtained a Master’s degree in Geography and a Master’s degree in GIS and Remote Sensing. She has 10 years of experience in Remote Sensing Image processing for water quality and coastal management. Her research has mainly focused on suspended sediment and turbidity retrieval in turbid coastal waters. It has led to her collaborations with universities\, research institutes\, industries and international organisations.\nShe is a member of several international workgroups in the field of inland and coastal water quality and has coordinated several research and commercial projects.
