The main objective of the ERATOSTHENES COVID-19 WebGIS Platform is to illustrate the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, disseminate useful statistical figures to the Governing Departments and Authorities and inform the public.
Cyrpus WEBGIS platform is ready to support the Ministry of Health (CY), municipalities or local cummunities during their COVID 19 sampling campaigns.

This WebGIS platform has been developed by Mr. Dimitris Kakoullis and Mr. George Ioannou researchers of the Geoinformatics Cluster under the supervision of Dr. Chris Danezis, Assistant Professor, Head of Geoinformatics of the ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence (ECoE), Liaison Officer for the Governmental Departments, Organisations and Industry of the ‘EXCELSIOR’ H2020 Teaming Project and Head of the Geodesy Lab of the Department of Civil Engineering and Geomatics/Faculty of Engineering and Technology of the Cyprus University of Technology.
